Your Feedback Needed
I would like to know what platform other than iOS you would prefer to see being developed after release:
Platforms to go for after iOS
WebApp (to have it on both Phone & Desktop)
Android (native android App)

I also want to sincerely thank everyone who has already joined the waitlist!
Seeing interest at this early stage is incredibly motivating. Especially while working on parts of development that are not always visible, it helps a lot to know that people are waiting for this to exist. Staymaker started as a very personal idea, and it’s slowly turning into something shared.
Update on Staymaker’s Progress
I wanted to share a brief update on where Staymaker currently stands.
Over the past months, the project has reached a point where it feels more tangible than ever. The core idea has been clear for a long time, but now the app itself is beginning to settle into its final form. Before moving fully into backend setup and release preparation, I’m deliberately spending a bit more time refining the frontend. This phase is about details, polish, and making sure everything feels right when you actually use it.
Design plays a huge role in this. Staymaker is not meant to feel like traditional management software. It should feel calm, lightweight, and intuitive. Something that doesn’t add mental load to an already busy day. Right now, my focus is on spacing, transitions, small interactions, and overall coherence across the app. These last touches really matter!
The First Focus: Cleaning Schedules
At launch, Staymaker will focus on one core task: managing cleaning schedules for vacation rentals.
The app is designed to connect booking calendars, detect checkouts automatically, and create cleaning tasks without manual effort. Cleaners are assigned intelligently, availability is respected, and everything stays in one clear overview. The goal is to remove the need for spreadsheets, endless messages, and constant back-and-forth communication.
This first release is intentionally focused. A reliable vacation rental management system should solve one problem extremely well before expanding. For many small hosts, cleaning coordination is the most time-consuming and stressful part of daily operations, which makes it the right place to start.

More Features Will Follow
Although cleaning schedules are the foundation, Staymaker is not limited to this one use case.
Additional features are already planned and will be introduced step by step after launch. The idea is to grow the app carefully based on real usage and feedback, rather than overwhelming users from day one. Simplicity is a core principle and will stay that way even as the app becomes more capable over time!
Backend, Pricing, and Release
Backend setup is the next major milestone. This includes user accounts, data syncing, and making sure everything works reliably across devices. Once this is in place, the focus will shift fully toward preparing the release.
Pricing will also be communicated very soon. The intention is to keep it transparent, fair, and accessible, especially for small vacation rental hosts who don’t need complex enterprise tools!
Looking Ahead
Staymaker was born from a real situation. Watching how much effort it takes to manage vacation rentals with scattered tools and manual processes made it clear that there had to be a better way. That goal hasn’t changed.
The aim is still to reduce friction, save time, and make organization feel effortless.
Thank you for the patience and support so far. More updates soon!
